• All the Phuket Scooter Rental motorbikes have 3rd party medical insurance included free of charge.
• In an unlikely event of an accident, we will assist you truly the whole process in person, to solve the issues as soon as possible. We assist you at the hospital, at the police station as a translator, talk to Thai police officers.

• We accept the security deposit only in cash, Thb, Usd, or Euro.
• The amount of the security deposit depends on the scooter or motorbike you choose to lease.
• In an emergency, we can also accept your valid passport with which you entered the Kingdom. (Issuing the passport is not recommended).

• Our policy is very short about that. We don’t refund any rental fee.
• After inspecting the returned scooter, we will return the security deposit.

There are a few easy steps you must follow for a reservation of a scooter.

Only cash on delivery.

It is therefore quite possible that at the last moments of your stay, you decide to rent a scooter.

Just make a phone call and reserve your motorbike. Come to our place and pick up the scooter. This is the fastest way. Daily we have the list for the scooter to be delivered, possible it will be brought to your hotel. For the last-minute delivery, you can still count at least 3.30 hours until we are at your place. To your advantage as we strive to give the best service

For now, only cash on delivery.

We are working on a Gateway to accept credit card, counter payment, mobile phone payments.

There are a few documents we need you to show us to take a picture of the documents with our mobile phone.

1 Valid International passport

2 Valid driver’s license from your country + your international driver’s license.  (gray book). The category “AM or M (Moped)” can ride a scooter 110cc. A1 can ride a scooter 125cc, and carry a passenger. Category “A1” can ride a scooter 150cc, 155cc carry a passenger. Category “A” can ride a scooter 300cc, and carry a passenger. An international driver’s permit must have a stamp on Category A.

3  As we don’t hold your international passport, we accept a security deposit in Thb, Euro, or Usd. The deposit will be refunded after inspection of your scooter, on the day we pick up your scooter at your place.

5 Hand over the rental fee on the day Phuket Scooter Rental delivers you the motorbike.

At Phuket Scooter Rental a maximum number of permitted kilometers is included in the price. In this case, it is mentioned in the lease.

Do not forget to read the terms and conditions before booking. It contains everything you need to know before you reserve a scooter.

110 cc – 125 cc – 155cc / The Lessee is allowed to drive till 80 km/day for a daily rental.

The Lessee is allowed to drive till 480 km/for 6 days rental. The Lessee is allowed to drive till 896 km for 14 days rental period. The Lessee is allowed to drive till 1568 km/28 days for a monthly rental.

Each kilometer over that limit will be charged 5 baht/kilometer.

250 cc – 650 cc /The Lessee is allowed to drive till 100 km/day for a daily rental. The Lessee is allowed to drive till 600 km/6 days rental. The Lessee is allowed to drive till 1260 km for 14 days rental period. The Lessee is allowed to drive till 1600 km/20 days for rental period. The lessee is allowed to drive till 1960 km/28 days rental period.

Each kilometer over that limit will be charged 5 baht/kilometer.

You might also be saving money by not paying for expensive public transportation, taxi’s tuk-tuks. No more waiting in a taxi watching the meter shoot up as pedestrians walk by your idling taxi. You can navigate yourself and really enjoy the beautiful views, beaches etc… to see Phuket at your pace.
• Just realize yourself, when joying the Phuket traffic, it’s not the same as the traffic at home! In Patong and Phuket Town, much more crazy and hectic.
• Phuket Scooter Rental believe that riding a scooter in Phuket is very safe, as long as you pay attention to what is going on around you. There are risks involved in driving a scooter in every city in the world. Phuket is no exception. Please be safe when you are operating your rental scooter. You should always wear your helmet at all times, regardless of how safe you feel without one. You will see on the street, many tourists and Thai don’t wear a helmet. Frankly, you may lose an arm, you may lose a leg, you still have another arm or leg. But losing your head…..it’s game over! 
• Let’s say like this, if you don’t have motorbike experience from home, forget it. That simple.

We will deliver and/or pick up your chosen scooter at any place around in Phuket island, free of charge, between our working 10 am to 5 pm.

Before or after working hours is possible on request to deliver or pick up your scooter from your place.

We have 1 or 2 basic standard helmets available for you. You also have the choice between scooter helmets with a window or scooter helmets without a window.

On delivery of the rental scooter, you get from Phuket Scooter Rental a full gasoline tank. Our policy is ” Full to full ”

Just before you return the rented scooter to us, go to the nearest tank station. For scooters, 110cc, 125cc, 150cc, 160cc, required gasoline 91 to refill a 300cc, gasoline 95 required

If you don’t have the time or want to do the refilling by yourself, we will do that for you, but we will charge you a 300 Thb for 110cc or a 125cc scooter and a 400 Thb to refill a 150cc or a 300cc scooter.

If you minimum take 3 days rental term, or 3 days fully paid, the minimum rental fee is 1000 Thb. If less than 1000 Thb, is not a problem, you might have the possibility to pick up your scooter from our headquarters.

Our responsibility is to make sure the scooter wouldn’t break down during the lease. However, we don’t have a glass sphere to see the future, technical parts that can cause problems with the scooter are unpredictable.  In that case, if you would find out, there might be some problems, provide us your location in Google Maps, and give us a call. Pinning your location in Google Maps, make it our work easier to help and assist you in about one hour.

Very short answer, yes! You are responsible during the lease period. You can have the damage repaired yourself, this is the cheapest way and you save costs. We can recommend some repair shops, please inform us.
If you want us to have the repairs carried out after the rental period, the costs will be slightly higher.
(1-day rental fee of the scooter model, THB 450 to take the damaged scooter to the repair store, THB 450 to pick up the scooter later in the day)

Phuket Scooter Rental can provide you with a scooter for a day or 2. Unfortunately, we are not able to deliver the scooter to your hotel for 1 or 2 days. You are welcome, without obligation, to personally collect your scooter from our headquarters.

In our motorbike fleet, we have scooters, motorbikes available for short term or for the long term. We lease bikes only daily, weekly, monthly (short term).

Long-term lease starts from minimum 3 months upon to a year.

The rental fee depends on the chosen scooter and term. Hughes discounts and a great service during the lease.

We will never deliver or pick up any scooter at the International Airport Phuket, neither at any pier on Phuket island.

Price is relative. You can only assess the value of a service after you have used it. And even then the value is different for everyone – depending on how much money someone has and what he expects of his investment.
